![]() I know someone will now say how they are thematic, and a bonus but I am not asking for Chosen level of power, but either reduce time to recruit them or tweak the values to even have a reason to recruit them. Same goes for Knights of Mor, Nordland Mariners, Carroburg Greatswords and Knights of Everlasting light. One unit of Swordsmen with Frenzy (Swords of Ulric) would be ok at best if it was a regular unit, and not a special unit every 15 turns. And Elector specific units are overall too weak, especially now that Outposts exist. Their lords are underleveled as well, so you will just disband them. And the reward for finally getting it to 10 and getting one province is Tier 3 city that you now need to upgrade and wait 20 turns to be useful. You get some events early, but the longer the game lasts, they more spread they are, and you are left to wait for 5% chance of Fealty increase to trigger while sitting on 50k Prestige and relations being at +500. Secondly, elector mechanics are bare bones. It has never been demolished, yet it is still sitting at Tier 3.įestus and Khazrak, demolish northern provinces while you deal with Empire secessionists who turtle in Helmgart, Vlad and Drycha destroy the east, and once you establish some control, Wurzag and Belakor start spamming armies, as soon as they notice that your armies are elsewhere. I am 120 turns into the campaign and Stirland's capital, Wurtbad, is still Tier 3. ![]() Similar case as Kislev in RoC, you get swarmed by all sides, and ally AI is useless. However, having played 120 turns since IE release, here are some thoughts.įirstly, Empire should not be starter campaign, even through they are marked as such, along side Tyrion and Cathay. In Update 2.0's Blog post CA has stated that Empire is mostly in a fine place except for slightly tweaking Imperial Authority, as they are not satisfied with it. ![]()
